2) Investment in Real Estate:
Applicant purchases government approved real estate project for the value of at least $400,000 and maintain it for 5 years.
The property can be sold after 5 years.

Important Notes:
- Restrictions on the following nationalities have been lessened: Iranians, North Koreans, Somalis, Sudanese, Iraqis and Yemenis. Previously people holding these nationalities had to have been living only in the USA, Canada, UAE, KSA, Australia or New Zealand to be able to be considered into the Antigua and Barbuda citizenship by Investment program. They can now apply for the program.
- Stateless persons can also apply for the Antigua & Barbuda citizenship by investment program. Stateless persons from Kuwait, KSA and UAE will be examined on case-by-case basis.
Qualifications:
- Main applicant must be at least 18 years old
- Applicants must pass a due diligence exam and must hold no criminal record
- The applicant must make the suitable investment
- If the applicant invests in real estate it must be maintained for 5 years.
- Dependents can be included in the application. Children aged 18-30 years may be considered but they must be students full time and are fully dependent on their parents or in this case the main applicant
- Applicant can include their parents if they are above 55 years old, in that case they will be considered as dependents
